2026 refuse (trash) bills were mailed on December 26, 2025, and emailed on December 30, 2025. Please see the enclosed yellow sheet for payment instructions, early payment discount information, and senior discount details. Payment instructions are also attached to the email.

Reminder: Borough Parking Lots. If you have a permit for a spot in one of the Borough Parking Lots, your permit expires 12/31/25. Please come to Borough Office to renew your permit before the end of the year.
Council Vacancy & Special Meeting: The Borough of Catasauqua is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on Borough Council. The requirements are: you must be a resident, and registered voter, of Catasauqua Borough for at least one year. The position will be an appointment until the next Municipal Election (2027) when the position will be placed on the ballot, and the term shall expire January 3, 2028. Any interested residents may forward their letter of interest/resume by 12/26/25 to Glenn Eckhart, Borough Manager, 90 Bridge St., Catasauqua, PA 18032, manager@catasauqua.org, Council will interview the candidates and make an appointment at a Special Meeting of Council, on Dec. 29, 2025, at 6:30pm, at the Borough Hall.
DELINQUENT TRASH/REFUSE BILLS: delinquent 2025 refuse (trash)bills have been sent out. Balance is due in full by 12/30/2025. Unpaid balances will be submitted to Portnoff Law for collection in the beginning of 2026.

Water shut off notices were posted on 12/3/25 for anyone who hasn’t paid their October water bill. Bill must be paid by 12/17/2025 no later than 3:50PM. Otherwise, water service could be shut off and/or outstanding balance will be submitted to Portnoff law for collections. If water is shut off, you MUST pay in FULL – by CASH – before the water service will be restored.
